The LED light features a built-in L-series battery plate and can also be powered by a separately available DC adapter. It can last for approximately three hours on full brightness when using a separately available L-series NP-550 or NP-960 battery. The bright, easy-to-read LCD screen on the back displays the status of your battery, brightness percentage, and color temperature.

The Viltrox VL162T Bi-Color LED Video Light has built-in shoe-type mounts on its sides, which can be used to attach other accessories or to connect other VL-162T lights together to create a lighting array. It also includes an adjustable shoe adapter and a rigid diffusion filter.
