About Us
Foto Express Egypt S.A.E. is a share holing company established in 1996, the company took off with only 35 employees covering both management and branches. The business grew steadily over the years, and now our personnel count has reached 246 employees.
How We Started
Foto Express Egypt started as a commercial agent and a sole authorized distributor for the Japan- based company Fujifilm, which is regarded among the top five companies in the world in the field of photography. Currently, the company leads the globe in the field of manufacturing photographic and printing materials. Back in 1996, Foto Express possessed a share of only 9% in the Egyptian market. It was due to strategic marketing that the company could gradually and steadily dig in deeper to eventually possess a staggering 70% market share.
In a window of five years, Foto Express Egypt managed to bring Nikon aboard. The Japanese giant is considered to be the world’s leading force with regards to manufacturing cameras for both ends of the user spectrum, amateurs and professionals. Foto Express became it’s only authorized distributor in Egypt.
After a fierce competition, Foto Express Egypt became yet again the sole distributor for Noritsu, which is one of Japan’s top leading photo processing machines manufacturers.
During the last couple of years, and with the industry heading to video and cinema, Foto Express Egypt started to realize the need to expand our product line range to serve Photographers and videographers alike. We started by adding more distinguished brands such as Zhiyun-Tech, SmallRig, Saramonic, K&F Concept, FeelWorld and Came-TV and the list is growing.
