Being located in Fayoum, Tunis Village is one of the iconic sites most known for the simplicity of life, the earthy scenery and fresh air; and more things which attracted Evelyne Porret to move to the village in the late 1970s where she founded the Fayoum pottery school, a major icon that influenced the way the culture of the village is being shaped and the way it is presented and perceived by the world.
