The Nikon Festival — Z-Series Experience Zone
The Nikon Festival was a two-day experiential launch event dedicated to celebrating the Nikon Z-Series system. The first day was held as a private, invitation-only experience for trade partners, key dealers, industry professionals, and VIP guests — offering exclusive product access, networking, and hands-on demos.
The second day was open to the public, beginning with an engaging creative workshop led by Nikon content creators and cinematography professionals, followed by a full day of interactive shooting experiences and live demonstrations.
More than 800 attendees participated across the two days.
The entire event concept, production, staging, lighting design, and builds were fully executed by the FotoExpress team — including all activation stations, set construction, and experience zones.
Dr. Mohamed Assar
This workshop brought together filmmakers and creators for a focused learning experience on the craft and visual language of cinematography. Participants learned how to produce expressive shots, select suitable lens types for different scenarios, and apply lighting techniques to shape mood, atmosphere, and dramatic contrast — including backlighting, rim lighting, and low-key lighting.
The session also included hands-on practice with different shot types and lighting setups, along with feedback from Dr. Mohamed Assar based on real professional case studies. It was a valuable opportunity for filmmakers and visual storytellers to refine their skills and strengthen their cinematic approach.

A high-energy walk-through zone simulating red-carpet press photography with strobes, flashes, and movement-based portrait capture.

A dynamic LED-wrapped environment with surrounding light bars — built for creative color effects and dramatic depth lighting.
Full-Screen Motion Zone
A 360-style motion background with full display walls — allowing creators to shoot fashion and performance scenes with animated visuals.
Cinema Zone
A fully built film set recreating a living-room environment — designed for narrative, interview, and cinema-style content production.
