Description

The CAME-TV Boltzen Q-55S 55W Fresnel Focusable Bi-Color LED is a valuable and versatile light source whether you’re building a kit around it, using it solo on the fly, or on location where its battery power is a valuable asset. The flexible fixture has adjustable color temperature, dimming, and AC or battery options.

The Boltzen 55W kit includes a quiet-running Boltzen Q-55S bi-color Fresnel with removable four-way barndoors, an AC adapter, a D-Tap cable, a diffusion filter, and a milky-white diffusion filter.

The CAME-TV Boltzen Q-55S 55W Fresnel Focusable Bi-Color LED employs a Chip-on-Board light source with a variable 3200 to 5600K color temperature to meet any ambient light challenge, blend seamlessly with other fixtures, or just exercise creative expression. The light’s high CRI of 97 is an indicator of advanced accuracy in color rendering.

The Q-55S is also dimmable, and while you can adjust the color temperature and light intensity locally on the fixture, you can also do it wirelessly from an optional controller thanks to the fixture’s built-in Wi-Fi. The Q-55S has spot-to-flood focusing capability from 20 to 40 degrees to vary your coverage, while the included 4-way barndoors allow for further control of the beam angle.

You can use the light worldwide thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power adapter, but you can also run it on two optional NP-F970 batteries or a D-Tap-equipped battery when AC power is unavailable. A filter set is included to help you soften the output. It all fits in the padded case with shoulder strap.

The Boltzen 55w Fresnel Focusable Bi-Color Led is a High Output Video Light includes an adjustable Fresnel lens to help focus the light and provide a longer throw. When used without the lens, the light becomes a wider flood and the included barn doors help to control the spill. This versatility allows you to go from a tight spot to a wide flood all in one continuous light.

The Boltzen 55 High Output Watt video light has 40% more output than our previous 55 Watt light and now has 2 battery slots for Sony style NPF batteries.

There is a built in cooling fan to dissipate heat and is barely audible at a distance of 1 meter.

The CAME-TV Boltzen 55w Fresnel Focusable Bi-Color LED can be powered from AC (with included power adapter), NP Series batteries or V-Mount battery via the included V-Mount adapter cable providing convenient use on set and on location.

Frequency is a strobe setting and the new light has several different effects built in. When choosing frequency it is how fast/slow the strobing effect cycles.
